The best thing we did at Park City was play at the Olympic Park. They had several Olympians in training while we were there and it was cool to watch them. The zip lines were a lot of fun and you can tell by McKay's big smile below that sitting in the bobsled was his highlight. ;)

Lately
Before I can post any recent pictures, I have to find my camera charger. Hate it when I misplace really important things like that. In the past little while, we have been packed full with a BUSY schedule. We had memorial day weekend, which was spent throwing a baby shower for my fun sister-in-law, Heather, having a piano recital for my cute students, enjoying boating on the Enterprise Reservoir, and visiting JoAnn's grave. Then we had McKay's little cousin, Hadley, visit for a few days and we finally figured out our sprinkler issues after a few weeks of trying. (Lame valves that were not all the way open). Now we REALLY know what water pressure means. :) So I realize that this is probably extremely boring, but alas, sometimes life is boring without pictures to describe it. Pictures coming soon!

NYC
Last week, McKay and I traveled to visit Scott & Whitney in Greenwich, Connecticut. They live 30 minutes outside of NYC. It was great to spend a day in the city and to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. It was a fabulous show!!! It's coming to SLC this fall for anyone who is interested. I loved it.
Cute kids
Scott & Whitney's kids are the best! They say funny things, they are very sweet, and they are so fun to play with. Playing with the girls brought me back to my childhood when playing house was so much fun!!! I really had to watch McKay close with Jake because McKay is really into touching people's eyes, noses, and ears right now. Jake experienced that a few times, followed by some crying. :( McKay also has a talent for grabbing girls' hair (we're working on not doing that one). Katie Grace had had enough of the hair pulling and on our last day, she told me, "I'm glad you're leaving because we don't want him (McKay) here anymore." Oh I was laughing so hard. I can relate.

R.E.S.T.L.E.S.S.
Thank goodness for some perceptive flight attendants who took him in the back for a little bit so that I could maintain my sanity. Thankfully, we both survived, but I don't think I'll be going back to Connecticut until he will watch movies on a portable DVD player. :)
