Seattle...Land that I Love

I was glad when Rebekah decided to get married in Seattle because that meant a trip for me to spend some time in a place that I love so much from growing up there. My family moved to Oregon when I was in high school and now my parents have recently moved to Missouri! So, any opportunity to go back to the Northwest is greatly welcomed! Here are some fun things we did in Seattle after the wedding.

The Mariners Home Stadium. We enjoyed the game, even though they lost horribly!

Kimball, JaNeece, Evan, cousins Jesse and Carol

We took a ferry ride to Kingston and loved the 70 degree weather!

Kimball is cute!

Rebekah & Matthew Bingham wedding

Kimball and I traveled up to Seattle last week for my cousin Rebekah's wedding. Rebekah and I were close all growing up due to living in the same area and seeing a lot of each other. We have always been "bosom" friends (Anne of Green Gables). As we have gotten to know Matthew in the past months, we really like him too. Here are a few pictures of the beautiful event.

Cute nephew, Sam, at the reception

Grandma Hatch with three of her kids: Jeff, Ken, Karen

The cute couple. This reminds me of my wedding. What a great memory!

Hatch Family Reunion

This reunion was short lived for me since I got the stomach bug that my niece and nephew had prior to the reunion. Evan's two kids ended up in the hospital because they were so dehydrated from throwing up all day long. Mom, JaNeece, and I took care of them while the boys were hiking in Zions (pictures to come later). The guys had a great time! The gals...not so much. I was able to go to the reunion at Springhaven Lodge one day. Here are my two lovely cousins closest in age to me: Katie and Rebekah. I love these girls! The reunion theme was "Power to Do" taken from the scripture in Mosiah. We all had a great time together making memories.

25 Weeks

Our baby boy is growing more now, and I only have 15 weeks left! Wohoo! This pregnancy has gone by very smoothly. This past week, the doctor took a look at everything and says the baby is doing great! I hope to keep it that way. He is moving all over the place too. Kimball has been able to feel his movements. We just sit, look at my tummy, and laugh because the kicks are so rambunctious.

Pregnancy + Summer = Hot
So what do I do? I bake and use my hot oven in my hot house! ha ha! This is a picture of my latest culinary treat. I learned this tasty bread recipe at YW night and decided to try cinnamon rolls. They were delicious! I will work on my form next time around, but all that really matters is that it tastes good, right? :)
