BYU Football

What a wonderful game on Saturday night! We LOVED it, mostly because we were pleasantly surprised with BYU's performance. Hopefully this is not a fluke to how their season really will be. Sam Bradford's facial expression was classic when he looked up at the Jumbo Tron after his team missed their field goal. Ha! We got a good laugh out of that. Watching BYU football makes me miss BYU. Being in Logan is great, don't get me wrong. It's just not Provo or BYU!! We did get Aggie icecream the other night, but it's not close to what the creamery on 9th is like. :) What good memories we have!

32 Weeks

I feel like my belly is a swimming pool, and our little baby LOVES it! He is swishing around all over the place doing some great dives, hand stands, and crawl strokes. :) Everything looks good. Just a little less than two months left! Yay!

Saying Goodbye to Hunt Road

Moving is a tough thing! We spent most of our moving day cleaning our house and doing yardwork so that it would look really nice when our landlords came back that night (for the first time in a year). By the end of the day, I thought to myself, this place is SO nice!!! I can't believe we are leaving it! We have so many great memories of living on Hunt Road. That house gave us a chance to really get involved with yard work, which we both enjoy doing.

The day after we moved, our landlord called us and said, "you sure have done a wonderful job with the house and the yard. My wife screamed a scream of delight when we pulled into the driveway last night. It just looks great!" Part of our stellar rent deal was the stipulation to take care of the yard and the house. We are so glad they were pleased when they arrived there.

Grandpa Twitchell

Grandpa Twitchell has always loved Kimball to cut his hair. Each time we visit, he gets a much-needed hair cut. Other people sometimes offer to cut grandpa's hair, but he tells them that he will wait for Kimball. Kimball does a very nice job and gets a chance to talk to grandpa about his hay harvest.

Baby Colt in Enterprise

This little baby colt was born in July. She was so cute to watch with her mama.

30 Weeks and moving!

I have 10 weeks left of the pregnancy, which is great! I am so glad it has gone by fast. The only downside now is that we are in the midst of packing and moving this week. This is not my favorite activity of choice, but it's gotta happen. I am excited to live in Logan. Logan will be beautiful for another couple months before the snow hits us hard. We both have family in Logan, which will be great. We are so sad to leave our ward. Last night we invited our ward over for icecream and to say good-bye. We had over 50 people come. It was really a lot of fun...it actually kind of reminded me of our dessert nights in the singles wards that my roommates and I would put together. We have met so many wonderful people here in Murray. This would be a great place to come back and live someday. For now, it's Logan and hopefully we will make great friends there too.

Blake & Heather Holt Wedding

The happy couple at their luncheon

I thought their cake looked amazing. Going to receptions is a hobby of mine...it's fun to see how people decorate.

Taking a break outside during the reception. We were watching all the grandkids "decorate" the get-away car.
