4 Months

 Nelson is a lot of fun! He is such a good baby. I can't believe it. He hardly ever cries and he has started sleeping 8-9 hours in a row at night!! Today was his 4 month check up, which went pretty well. He is doing great except that he hasn't gained any weight in a whole month! I am being completely honest when I tell people that I actually DO feed him!!!! :) So, the plan right now is to keep nursing him and just add one bottle a day. He does take a bottle once in a while, so I think this will work out just fine. We will check back in a couple weeks to see if he has put some chub on. The funny thing is that McKay sometimes will call Nelson "chubby buddy." It doesn't really apply though...apparently.

Los Angeles

We took a weekend trip to Los Angeles a month ago. We had so much fun! Being at the beach made me want to visit more often!

 We saw Jimmer Fredette play at the Staples Center (the reason for our trip)

 McKay was pretty enthralled with the basketball game. This picture was taken during the pre game show before too many people got there. Our real seats were actually in the nose bleed section.

 We enjoyed the aquarium. McKay thought the scuba divers were pretty neat! He kept waving at them. 

Ashla Wedding

 Kimball's youngest sister, Ashla, got married to Bryce Clay last weekend! My pictures really aren't that great, but I had to document the event. The one above is Kimball's brothers, sisters, and parents.

 The boys outfits turned out pretty cute. McKay looked handsome (he kept repeating that he was handsome several times...ha ha) and Nelson's tie onesie was so cute (thanks to my friend, Melinda!)

Farmer Jones

We have a sheep farmer in our ward: Brother Jones. McKay has a little farm play set and he is always calling the farmers "Farmer Jones." Last week, we took a trip out to see Farmer Jones and all his sheep during their big lambing time of the year. McKay sure enjoys farms and animals (from a distance). We're trying to help him understand that dogs and cats aren't scary, but for some reason he is terrified of animals that come close to him. Luckily the sheep had their own little pens.

Children's Museum

We took a little road trip to Salt Lake City a couple weekends ago and had such a good time with each other! I have been wanting to do more activities as a family. My brothers' families are a great example to me of spending quality time with each other, so they are partly my inspiration. I'm not saying we have to leave Cedar City to have good quality time, but it seems like that is the trend with our recent outings.... :) :) :)

One night we had ice-cream for dessert and we pretty much finished a carton, so I just left it out on the counter. Then I went to nurse the baby and Kimball left for a meeting. So...when I came back out to see what my extremely quiet toddler was doing, I found him scraping out the last few bites. :)

We are teaching Nelson early to be a cougar fan!

He's starting to smile more. He has been a lot of fun lately!
