Brian's coming home today!

I am out in Missouri now because Brian gets home today!! He has been serving in Atlanta, GA. He and I are good friends, and I can't wait to catch up on two years worth of chatting, playing tennis, talking about who we like (he probably won't have too much to add to that part of the conversation), etc. Can't wait!!

My mom is coming!!!

I am excited. My mom is coming today! The last time I saw her (not counting web cam) was Christmas. So this will be such a treat. She and McKay have a special bond, which McKay probably won't remember, but oh well. This picture is my mom with McKay in the NICU.

McKay and Hadley

Baby Hadley (and parents) are moving to California this week! We are going to miss them. I have definitely enjoyed holding Hadley--a little bundle as light as a feather. These two are 6 months apart.

All tuckered out

If I have learned one thing in the past 7 months, it is that being a baby is hard work! This little guy just gets so tired after all the play, play, play! He is such a joy to play with.

This morning, I was awoken (at 8:45...guess mom gets tired sometimes too) by the doorbell. My 8 year old neighbor wanted to see if McKay could play. How cute is that? So, I obliged and dropped McKay off at her house while I went for a run. Love nice neighbors.
