It's official

We bought a home! What a process buying a home is. We are really excited and feel very blessed to not be renting in a couple months. We plan to move to Cedar City around April or May.

Arizona

My trip to Arizona was a lot of fun. I loved going swimming, walking without having to bundle up, and spending time with family. I am so grateful my mom flew in to meet me there for the week!

McKay really enjoyed the opening ceremonies to the Olympics. We even gave him the remote for the commercials. When he got bored, he would just read the Digest. :)

Grandpa Thacker

My Grandpa was recently moved into a great care home, and this last time I saw him was the best I've seen him in a long time. Kids bring out the best and happiest in my grandpa. He LOVED McKay. He talked to him, played with him, fed him, and kept saying over and over, "he's a healthy boy!" It is sad that grandma and grandpa now live apart, but grandpa is doing well and grandma is just trying to take care of herself with all the pain she is having.

Grandma Thacker

I love my grandma Thacker! She has so many wonderful qualities. She is easy going and loving and has a great sense of humor. She is enduring her SECOND bout of breast cancer (her first being in her 60's). She turns 80 this year, and I think of the life she has lived, and it is inspiring to me and makes me want to be better.

Sleepin'

Well my two boys are sleeping. We are glad to have Sundays to recuperate sometimes! All three of us had a fun, exhausting week in the SUN!! Kimball traveled to California with his dairy class to tour bunches of dairies and to attend the world Ag Expo. McKay and mommy traveled to Arizona to visit my grandparents. All in all, we had a great week, but we are glad to be back together and mom is glad to start getting some more sleep now that dad is here to help. Pictures of our fun vacations to come.

Some fun places

McKay has found some fun places to get himself into. This basket was his favorite. He just kept moving his legs back and forth because of the cool fabric.

This is Grandma Holt's high chair, which may still be a little too big for this kiddo. Solid foods...here we come!

He looks a little stunned in this one. Like, are you really going to leave me here with this dirty laundry??
